# VideoTextRemover

> VideoTextRemover is an online AI tool that removes burned-in subtitles, captions and other on-screen text from MP4 and MOV videos and rebuilds the picture behind them, instead of blurring or cropping the frame.

## Facts
- Input: MP4 or MOV, up to 500 MB and 10 minutes per upload
- Output: MP4 at the same resolution as your upload, up to 1080p
- Modes: Select area (the default: erases everything inside boxes drawn on the video, text or not; for text that stays in one place), Subtitles (finds subtitle and caption lines on its own) or All text (also titles, labels, timestamps); in the last two, optional boxes limit where text is looked for. Every box is padded to 1.4 times its drawn width and height
- Processing time: about 10 to 14 minutes for a 30-second 1080p clip; longer videos take longer; it runs in the cloud and the result appears in Recent tasks
- Free: 30 seconds every month after signing in with Google. Free monthly seconds are available to accounts created in the US, Canada, the UK, the EU/EEA, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Israel and the UAE, up to two accounts per network each month. Paid plans work in every country.
- Price: 1 credit per second of the chosen part, about $0.030 per second on monthly plans, about $0.025 on yearly plans and about $0.033 to $0.040 with credit packs; failed tasks are not charged
- Privacy: uploads and results are deleted after 7 days
- Boxes: up to 6 per video in Select area, each padded to 1.4 times its drawn width and height
- Account: sign in with Google to upload; no card is needed for the free seconds. Videos are uploaded as files; links are not downloaded
- Works best on: small text, clean backgrounds and text that stays in place, as in talking-head videos, product ads, product review clips and film or series subtitles
- Not a good fit: large text that fills much of the frame, busy fast-moving backgrounds, text that moves across the frame, and heavily compressed or very low-resolution video

- All downloaders: free with Google sign-in, 3 posts or 1 profile page a day in total, then 1 second of credit per post or profile; files open from the platform's servers and are not stored; only for your own videos or content you may use
- Not supported: soft subtitle tracks (switch them off instead). The Terms do not allow removing watermarks, logos or credits that identify a video's owner
